What is “Rent-To-Own”?

Rent-To-Own is Queensland Auto Brokers long-term vehicle hire scheme where we get you the car, and you hire it from us on a long-term leasing agreement. After you make your final payment we sign the car over to your ownership and there’s no more payments!

What about my credit history?

Rent-To-Own is not like a standard car loan, and that means that we give you a chance when other credit agencies won’t. Because you’re entering into a long-term hire agreement

What car can I get?

Queensland Auto Brokers can help you to own the car of your choice*. For our new customers, we offer a wide range of high-quality vehicles, all mechanically inspected, serviced and ready for you to drive away.

What’s included in my payments?

Your payments include your standard weekly rental fees, registration fees and scheduled servicing for the life of your rental agreement.

What do I have to pay for?

You have to pay the full deposit, and the weekly payments on time and in full. You are also responsible for full comprehensive insurance for the vehicle, all fuel costs, normal wear-and-tear and general maintenance on the vehicle.

What if I change my mind?

If you change your mind you have two options**:

  1. You can hand the car back to us and receive a percentage of your deposit back with no more payments.
  2. You can change to a different car, sometimes keeping the same payments.

Can I modify the vehicle?

Under most circumstances we do not allow modification of the vehicle in any way.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Aftermarket stereo equipment
  • Aftermarket wheels & tyres
  • Body kits
  • Repainting
  • Engine and drivetrain modifications
  • Exhaust systems
  • Suspension

If you have a specific need for modifying the vehicle please contact us and we will consider your situation. You cannot modify the vehicle without the expressed written permission of Queensland Auto Brokers.

What if I can’t make a payment on time?

Contact us immediately. We understand that “life happens” and we can work with you through these times. Once you contact us our representative will let you know exactly what we can do to help your situation.

Please note that any late payments will incur additional charges to cover the cost of recovering the outstanding amount.
